Delete your account
You can delete your FridgeFit account and the data linked to it at any time. Choose the option that suits you.
Delete it in the app
Instant. Takes under a minute if you can log in.
Request it by email
For when you can’t log in or no longer have the app.
Option 1 — Delete it in the app
- Open FridgeFit and log in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account & my data.
- Confirm that you understand it is permanent and tap Delete permanently.
The deletion happens immediately and you are logged out.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
Send the request from the email address you registered with, so we can verify it is you. We will confirm by reply and complete the deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner).

If the button doesn’t open your mail app, write to fridgefit@palvarezapps.com with the subject “Delete my FridgeFit account”.
What gets deleted
- Your login (email and, if used, your Google or Apple sign-in link).
- Your profile: name, picture, age, height, weight, goal, diets, allergies and preferences.
- Your nutrition goals and your entire food log.
- The data saved on the device you use to delete it.
Fridge photos are not stored on our servers, so there is nothing else to remove. This cannot be undone: you will need to create a new account to use FridgeFit again.
What we keep
A minimal record of the deletion request — your internal account ID and the date — is kept as proof that we honored your request. It does not include your email, profile or food log. To prevent abuse of the free scan allowance, we also keep the number of free scans you used, linked only to a one-way hash of your email (we cannot recover your email from it). If you sign up again with the same email, those scans still count. Provider backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Signed in with Google or Apple?
Deleting your FridgeFit account removes our copy of your data. You can also remove FridgeFit’s access from your Google account (Security → Third-party access) or Apple ID (Sign in with Apple settings).
